Our Fraternal Objects

The three primary aims of our fraternity

To Bind

To bind our members with ties of true and lasting friendship. We're committed to forming deep bonds between our brothers and forging friendships that will stand the test of time.

To Strive

To strive for the advancement of chemistry, both as a science and as a profession. We have dedicated ourselves to improving the natural sciences, one person and one step at a time.

To Aid

To aid our members in every honorable means to the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives. As a professional fraternity, we seek to equip our brothers with skills essential to professional and academic success.

Events

The foundation of our organization

To best serve our members and our community, our fraternity hosts a wide variety of events, including professional, service, and social events. Below are events our organization has hosted in years prior, both for fraternity members, the university, and the Lexington community as a whole. To learn more about our organization's goals, membership, and recruitment, visit our About page!

Professional Events

Designed to foster growth and professionalism in our members, helping them build skills and network with professionals.

Service Opportunities

A core tenant of our fraternity is to advance chemistry as a science and a profession, which includes spreading our love and knowledge of science to our community through volunteer opportunities.

Social Events

Ultimately, we as a fraternity hope to build lifelong bonds between our brothers, which we accomplish through the multitude of fun social events that we offer each year!

Professional events our chapter has hosted previously include

  • Professional headshot studios

  • Resume and LinkedIn workshops

  • Career counseling

  • Distillery tours

  • Q&A pannels with academic and industry professionals in the chemical and related sciences

We've had the privilege to volunteer in many capacities, including

  • Science demonstrations at the local children's museum

  • Robotics competition judging

  • Local science outreach activities

We plan to continue these opportunities and to do much more in the future to spread our love of chemistry throughout Lexington

As brothers, we have had the opportunity to share joy through

  • Fraternity game nights

  • Ice cream socials

  • Group bowling

  • Dungeons and Dragons campaigns

  • Craft and paint nights
